Jon founded Hurdle after more than a decade as a private equity investor at three middle-market and lower-middle-market buyout firms. He combines an investor’s view of the deal process with hands-on expertise in AI workflows, helping private capital firms decide where AI will make the most difference and how to put it to work.
Jin is Hurdle’s lead forward deployed engineer, building and deploying high-quality AI workflows inside the systems client firms already run. His earlier career in investment banking gives him a firsthand view of how deal teams work, so each workflow fits the way the team actually operates.
Brenden leads strategy and operations at Hurdle. He spent nearly six years at a Big Four advisory firm, advising financial institutions on large-scale risk management transformation and regulatory remediation. He now brings that experience to private capital, helping firms put AI to work with the governance their investors and regulatory examiners expect.
Claire is an investment professional with experience across financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio management. At Hurdle, Claire helps client firms focus on the AI enablement and governance questions that matter most to them, and turn the answers into practical next steps.
William has spent more than 30 years working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He draws on that experience to help Hurdle and its clients identify where AI will create the most value, both inside the firm and across its portfolio.
